Hand Off Music between Computer, Phone and Car

When I'm listening to some music on let's say Apple or Spotify and get in my car, the car starts from 0. What if it could check what I was last listening to and simply continue playing it in the car?
Starting point could be Youtube, Apple and Spotify data and then "portability" to a single channel in another device (probably Spotify) and could be an Alexa or Google speaker which has developer tools to interface with.
